Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She is a Romanian/German actress. Her most famous films are Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of 16she already landed several television roles, which included the leading role in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. Her fame was due to her role in Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable performances, like Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also Oscar-nominated. Alexandra was engaged in numerous important projects both locally as well as internationally. Some of these include the British biographical film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many others. She was also an active member of jury for the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
