Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania and is now an actor from Romania and Germany. Her most famous films are Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16she already secured a number of TV roles including the lead role in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was praised for her role as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable performances, like Adolf Hitler's Secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader is another Oscar nominated movie featuring this actress. Alexandra is well-known for her participation in a variety of noteworthy projects both domestically as well as internationally. The projects include British biographical feature Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon, amongst others. Additionally, she was a member of both jury for the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
