Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig in September 21 in 1983. Maggie Grace is an American actor best known for her character Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV series Lost. The couple had separated and she relocated with her mother in Los Angeles. It was a struggle to survive and was offered her first acting role in the film Rachel's Room's lead character. The TV film Murder in Greenwich where she played 15-years-old Martha Moxley earned her the nomination of a Young Artist Award. In 2004 Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television show Lost in which she was a main cast member for the first two seasons, and was awarded an award called the Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the ensemble cast. Grace wanted to focus on film after playing opposite Tom Welling's character on The Fog, in 2005. She starred as Kim Mills opposite Liam Neeson (both in Taken in 2008) on Suburban Girl as well as The Jane Austen Book Club. In 2008, she played the same role on Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both 2012). Grace played Shannon's part in Lost for two more episodes, including the finale of the series. Grace appeared in Californication's 6th season, which aired from 2013 until the year 2014. She portrays Faith who's both an avid stargazer as well as a the girl in the group. Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny, falls for her. Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. Gyllenhaal is a member of her family, and is the older sibling of Jake Gyllenhaal. Her career began as an early teenager, with small parts in a few films directed by her father. She also worked with her brother in 2001's popular movie Donnie Darko. Later, she was on the screen in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind as well as Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal was praised by critics for her performances as the lead in Secretary (2002, erotic romantic drama) as well as Sherrybaby (606) and Sherrybaby (606) that earned their Golden Globe Award nods. In 2006, she appeared in several commercially successful movies including World Trade Center. However it was her performance in the role of Rachel Dawes that brought her more attention with The Dark Knight (2008). In the film, her performance as Crazy Heart as a mother with a single child received her a nomination in the Academy Award Best Supporting Actress. The following years she was a part of comedies and dramatic films: Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011, and Won't Back Down 2012. Other roles she has played include Secret Service agents in White House Down (2013 an action thriller) as well as musicians in Frank (2014, drama The Kindergarten Teacher 2018), and the role of the Kindergarten Teacher. In 2021 Gyllenhaal has made her scriptwriting and directed debut in the psychological thriller The Lost Daughter for which she won The Lost Daughter the Venice International Film Festival's Best Screenplay Award and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
